Position Available: Overnight Service Technician


 


Job Purpose: Lead installation of our core products, repair and service equipment and assist with customer training and troubleshooting during service calls. Service Technicians should have strong technical and analytical skills and are responsible for the installation and servicing of our equipment in locations throughout the food service industry.


 


Key Accountabilities:


 


75% Operations performance:   Responsible for installing and maintaining our products in a safe, timely and accurate manner, along with meeting and controlling operational goals and timelines. Complies with internal process and procedures as well as all local and federally regulated requirements including DOT, OSHA and HACCP. Maintain proper parts and supply levels in company service vehicles and proper paperwork standards. Participate in “on call” staff schedule rotation based on customer needs.


 


25% Customer Service & Reliability: Communicate with customers to ensure performance is up to standards and the customer’s expectations. Efficiently and professionally service customers’ needs, training and coaching them on the system as needed. Utilize phone protocols and follow customer service training standards.


 


Requirements: 




  • Must be 18 years of age




  • Must meet Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record




  • Carry a minimum of 50 pounds by hand up to several hundred yards by cart




  • An ability to work overnight installation shifts >50% of time expected to be 3rd shift (8pm-6am)




  • Abilty to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties






  • Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach out




  • Ability to climb up and down a ladder as high as 20 feet in the air




 


Preferred:




  • CDL Class B driver’s license with Tanker Endorsement




  • Vocational training




  • Customer Service experience




  • Previous equipment installation experience
